Nigerian news has it that the popular Night club, Carmelo lounge in Abuja has been demolished by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
The building is located at Plot 630 T.O.S Benson Crescent Utako.
The lounge was razed to the ground on Monday morning, after the FCTA claimed the land was a residential area, therefore they violated the land use of act.

The Managing Director of the club Max Eze said “They came here Friday night at about 7pm and marked this place for demolition and today is Monday. By 6.45am, they came and pulled down this structure, there was no prior notice before now.”
