Emir Refuses to Follow Instructions - Kano Govt

The Kano State government has dethroned the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II. This was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Alhaji, on Monday at the State Executive Council meeting which held at the Government House in Kano.

He explained that the state government took the decision over allegations of consistently refusing to abide by instructions given to him.
